I began my career as a residential interior designer in rural Dorset, and I now spend much of my time in East Africa working on commercial projects. Wherever I am, I prioritise sourcing locally — seeking out skilled makers and artisans to build, craft, sew and create everything in between.

And when I’m in Africa, I can’t walk past a textile market without having a peek… which usually ends with an extra suitcase. I love finding distinctive fabrics to bring home and turn into lampshades and cushions. My house is officially full, so selling a few pieces felt like the sensible next step..
